Mist wraps around trees
Like soft souls embraced at last —
Resting for awhile

Tiniest minnow
Reaches with but a ripple,
Making music known

Lobster-claw plant hangs,
Indifferent to being seen,
Yet living brightly

Framed full of lush green,
Birds sing near the shaded stream.
Here, I plant myself.

~ Quote of the month ~

“August rain: the best of the summer gone, and the new fall not yet born. The odd uneven time.”
